MANDATES AND FUNCTIONS OF DEPARTMENTS IN THE COMPETITIVENESS DIVISION

The Competitiveness Division has three Departments, namely, Domestic Competitiveness, International Competitiveness and Research & Policy Analysis. The mandates and functions of the Departments are summarised in the table below:

Domestic Competitiveness Department Mandate

The Department provides evidence-based analysis of the supply and demand on all sectors of the economy, and recommend interventions for enhanced productivity and competitiveness.

The Department analyses the country’s global competitiveness performance through, engagements and partnerships with international competitiveness institutions.
